UNESCO has declared 2011 the "International Year of Chemistry" to celebrate the crucial role that fundamental scientific discipline performs in the solution of many problems facing the planet. The theme is: "Chemistry: Our Life, Our Future" .
Coincidint amb aquest event es convocarà un concurs d'interès per a tot l'institut.
